The solution is ready to plug and play into your tapeless or file based digital workflow and can be used for Pre-Production, Nearline, or Deep Archive storage. The MatrixStore plays nicely in Final Cut, Avid or Adobe workflows ensuring your content is protected at the highest levels whilst enabling you to concentrate on the creative processes.

The MatrixStore scales however large you need it to. From 10TB to 10PB it allows you to put everything you have ever created into your instantly accessible repository. Traditional archiving techniques just do not fit well in "on-demand" environments, don't provide ease of management, and often become obsolete. The MatrixStore is the highly affordable disk-based solution to meet your organisations ongoing nearline or deep archive needs.

The MatrixStore has been used in production workflows since 2006 by broadcast and creative agency customers.

A MatrixStore node consists of commodity hardware components (CPU, industry standard SATA disks), a commonly available Linux distribution, and, layered on top, MatrixStore software from Object Matrix.

The MatrixStore is a packaged solution coupling commodity hardware with MatrixStore server software. It is a true plug and play solution allowing an initial 3 node cluster to grow seamlessly as your needs grow. Need more capacity or performance. Add a node.
