Extend the reach of copper DVI cables effortlessly -- now with improved signal robustness
Like our DVI Super Booster, the new DVI Super Booster Plus allows the extension of HD digital video over copper DVI cable well beyond its specified 15-foot distance. Without such a device, sparkles or other objectionable mutations of the video signal can appear that indicate the signal has been degraded.
The DVI Super Booster Plus uses a plug-in power supply which helps to extend sparkling clear video of up to 1080p or 1920x1200 resolution at a maximum distance of 200 feet. Rest assured that with this product, you can kick back at the remote end and enjoy your video experience in the most precise, enthralling manner that it was intended to be.
With the new Plus model, improved DDC signal robustness is added, giving greater noise immunity to electrical signals vital for interfacing equipment at the receiver end. The result is that exceptionally long cable extensions of high-bandwidth HDTV video sources (such as Blu-Ray (tm)) will retain seamless electrical compatibility and spectacular picture.
To go beyond the limited inherent DVI distance or if you'd like to use two or more cables, our Boosters are a perfect option. They replicate digital video signals, enabling you to "daisy chain" cables and Repeaters as far as you need to go.
How It Works
This plug and play installation takes mere seconds.
Simply place the DVI Super Booster Plus at the end of your cable, then connect your monitor's cable to the DVI Super Booster Plus. Make sure all video cables are connected properly at the source and destination ends. Attach the power cable to the DVI Super Booster Plus. Power up all equipment. You will now see flawless video at your remote display as if you were sitting directly in front of a local HDTV monitor.
Note: The DVI Super Booster Plus is HDCP pass-through.
