ActiveSan is fully compatible with the latest Xsan 2.3 clients (ships with Lion) and works with legacy clients on the same system.  This means it can easily be integrated into existing Xsans whilst providing the ability to connect new Macs at a later date, or is equally suitable as the infrastructure for new Xsans which need to allow existing clients to connect.

 

All new macs ship with an Xsan client as part of the OS and so it makes a lot of sense to use Xsan as your high speed media storage solution.
