Telestream announces immediate availability of Pipeline V2.4 Control software for Pipeline single channel, Pipeline Quad and Pipeline HD models
What's New for both Windows and Mac OS X users:
- Print-To-Tape Playout of any HD & SD content - especially useful for the creation of spot reels and review/approvals
- Supports insert edit, assemble edit and manual crash playout to tape
- GVG4 EDL Import - import an EDL generated from Final Cut Pro, Avid and other systems into Pipeline Control - saving time and effort
- Improvements to NAS and SAN systems
- Improved disk write performance
- Improved compatibility with NAS and SAN systems
What's New for Mac OS X users only (already available for PC):
- Time Code break triggered capture mode - Pipeline Control automatically creates individual media files when a tape source contains non-contiguous time codes.
- This is particularly useful in reality TV productions where a lot of content is captured onto video tape from multiple cameras. Users can save time and money by using Pipeline with FlipFactory to automatically create low-res proxy files in real time based on a tape segment's time code breaks, and then using the EDL Import feature to capture only the required high-res files for the creation of the final production.
