HTML5 Transforming Online Video

Previous: Google WebM v MPEG-LA v US Department of Justice | All | Next: What is UltraViolet™ and why should you care?

A year ago, smooth visualization, which plays music and displays fluid animations, would've been something you'd have to make in Flash or Silverlight, requiring new programming languages to be learnt, and viewers to download plugins.  Now it’s possible using HTML5, which includes support for video embedding and other features that'll make current HTML-based webpages look like mere ‘Geocities’ templates.  HTML5 introduces new elements and attributes that reflect and ultimately build upon modern day website language allowing developers to build personalised rich content sites.
