Boxer and Digi-Box.co.uk are trading divisions of Boxer Systems Limited, and as such have access to an experienced and successful Systems Integration division. Boxer Systems has an impressive record of integrating a wide range of technologies to provide working solutions to budget and on time. Boxer’s video engineers and IT experts have worked closely together on projects, including traditional digital video installations, turnkey DVD authoring facilities, high speed Storage Area Network installations, custom data system applications and high speed, high capacity tape archive solutions. Contracts have involved consulting, concept planning, engineering, project and budget management. Recent Projects The Moving Picture Company Initially Boxer acted as system designers, integrators and project managers as part of an 18 month project to design and implement a whole new infrastructure for this world class facility. Subsequently we have been involved in several other projects at MPC including the integration of high speed data archives, storage, Digital Film equipment and most recently providing infrastructure for a new Digital Lab working at HD and 2K BSkyB Interactive Music Channels Boxer have installed 10 Omneon Servers at BSkyB and the most recent acquisitions are providing play out, on air graphics and automation for Sky’s new interactive music channels. The modularity and power of the Omneon has made it the choice for a variety of demanding applications at Sky and other broadcasters around the world. Burrell Durrant Hifle (BDH) Boxer was selected to design and implement a new infrastructure for this innovative graphics company when it planned its move to new, bigger premises. Squash DVD Ltd, Technicolor and PDSI Boxer designed and implemented these high quality DVD authoring facilities with room for expansion. The systems include multiple encoders, multiple authoring seats, Storage Area Network, high speed tape archive and Quality Control facilities
